Amanda is the public art curator for 505 George Street by Ingenhoven + Architectus. At two hundred and seventy meters, this landmark development for Sydney will be the city's tallest tower contributing to the revitalisation of the city’s central spine along George Street. Ingenhoven are a global leading architectural firm and their collaboration with Architectus on this award winning project offers the highest standard of excellence and expertise. The architectural objective for the multi-purpose development is to be a ‘friendly neighbour’, combining timeless and elegant design with innovation, sustainability and integration with surrounding context.
505 George Street will contribute significantly to Sydney’s urban landscape and requires exceptional public art. Singular international or Australian artists will be sourced to produce art of the highest quality that is contemporary, unique, well-integrated with integrity and relevance to site, engaging diverse inner-city audiences. Reflecting the calibre of the architecture the art will be innovative and timeless, to ensure longevity in the public realm and become a source of pride in years to come.
