Atlassian Central designed by New York based SHoP with BVN for Atlassian and Dexus, is the high profile anchor development of Sydney's newest CBD Tech Central precinct. Providing the gateway to this important precinct, Atlassian’s public art must set the bar high. 

As the public art curator for Atlassian Central, Amanda authored the Atlassian Central Public Art Strategy for this State Significant development, and is currently curating a multi million dollar program of permanent public artworks by exceptional First Nations Australian artist Brook Andrew and international Korean American artist Soo Sunny Park in order to implement the Strategy. The artists were selected from a shortlist of six First Nations Australian artists and five international artists researched and proposed by Amanda. The curatorial vision is for the public art to be innovative and extraordinary to reflect Atlassian’s key principals of sustainability, diversity, engagement, innovation and respect for Aboriginal site heritage. Contemporary, meaningful, compelling, unique, relevant and engaging, the public art will transcend the decorative to provide a rich, memorable and extraordinary experience of place, and a distinct offering to Sydney.

The wider precinct will be a place that connects into a global network of people, enable the sharing of these ideas, resources, and exchange of information amongst our global community in order to advance the way in which we think and act. A catalyst for future development in the area, Atlassian Central will lead by example with a public art program that incorporates these new ideas that enable positive change.

As public art curator Amanda continues to work closely with the artists and their teams, Dexus/Atlassian and the design teams at SHoP and BVN to drive, facilitate and manage the development of both public artworks through to completion.
